Hejt Park „Podolski i Borek” — live TV show production

We produced an episode of the Hejt Park „Podolski i Borek” show for Kanał Sportowy, a Polish sports channel — broadcast live from the Górnik Zabrze stadium, from our OB van. Three cameras, television-grade sound, set lighting and calls with the audience. The programme was watched by nearly 300,000 viewers.

The challenge

A live show in a club space, not in a studio

Hejt Park „Podolski i Borek” is a popular show on Kanał Sportowy, this time recorded not in a studio but in a club space at the Górnik Zabrze stadium — with a special guest, Lukas Podolski. A format like this has to be shown the television way: from several cameras, with good lighting and sound, and at the same time keeping the atmosphere of the venue and live conversations with the audience.

The challenge was to build a full television production inside the club's existing space and to maintain the quality of a show broadcast live to an audience of nearly 300,000.

How we did it

An OB van, three cameras and television-grade sound

We produced the show from our OB van. On set we worked with three Panasonic AK-HC3900 camera channels plus an additional Panasonic AW-UE150 PTZ camera. Sound was handled by a Shure ULX-D 4Q microphone system with DPA headset microphones, and we lit the set with Akurat Lighting equipment.

Phone calls with viewers were handled using a telephone hybrid, so the audience could join the show live. We brought it all together into a single television production broadcast on Kanał Sportowy.

FAQ

Live TV show production — common questions

How much does a live TV show production cost?

The price depends on the scale: the number of cameras, sound and lighting production, use of an OB van, graphics and audience interaction. An intimate show shot with a few cameras is priced differently from a large production with a full technical crew. Describe your format — we prepare a quote within one business day.

Do you produce shows outside a studio, in any location?

Yes. We produced Hejt Park „Podolski i Borek” in a club space at the Górnik Zabrze stadium. Thanks to an OB van, mobile lighting and sound, we build a television production practically anywhere — at a stadium, in an office, a hotel or outdoors.

Do you provide sound and lighting on set?

Yes. On Hejt Park we worked with a Shure ULX-D 4Q microphone system with DPA headset microphones, and we lit the set with Akurat Lighting equipment. We handle sound and lighting so the show looks and sounds like a professional television production.

Can you include phone calls with viewers?

Yes. On Hejt Park we handled viewer calls using a telephone hybrid, so the audience could join the show live. We tailor audience interaction to the format of the show.

How many cameras do you use for live shows?

It depends on the format. We produced Hejt Park with three Panasonic AK-HC3900 cameras plus an additional PTZ camera. We handle both intimate conversations and large, multi-camera television productions.

Do you prepare the signal for a broadcaster or platform?

Yes. We prepared the signal from the Hejt Park show for broadcast on Kanał Sportowy. We deliver broadcasts to the requirements of TV stations and platforms — on YouTube, on social media or on closed platforms.

Planning a live show or talk-show?

We can take on the entire production — OB van, cameras, sound, lighting, graphics, audience interaction and delivery — or just the part you need. Tell us what you are organising and we will prepare a quote within one day.
