What is the RTS intercom system?
The RTS intercom system consists of a matrix (OMS OMNEO)—the heart of the system—along with desktop or rack-mounted consoles connected via cable (twisted-pair LAN), and the ROAMEO wireless system, which includes antennas and wireless beltpacks. Additionally, audio infrastructure can be connected to the system via the DANTE protocol. This solution allows, among other things, for directing messages to the so-called “ears” from any RTS device to any actor or speaker, as well as off-air conversations without the involvement of a sound engineer or audio mixer. RTS ROAMEO Wireless System
The RTS ROAMEO wireless system supports up to 40 wireless beltpacks connected to the system via AP-1800 antennas. The antennas are connected via LAN cable or fiber optic cable to the main RTS OMS matrix. Each antenna can be assigned 5 to 10 RTS TR-1800 wireless beltpacks—the number depends on the selected codec (the more beltpacks, the lower the audio quality). There can be several or even a dozen or so antennas, which allows the system to be scaled for very large productions.
What are the advantages of the RTS digital intercom?
What sets a digital intercom system apart from an analog one is, above all, the ability to communicate with any selected users by programming so-called “relationships” on each user’s device. If User No. 1 wants to speak only to three selected people, this is entirely possible, and the others will not hear the conversation. This solution significantly streamlines communication on set and eliminates the general chaos associated with analog systems. The use of the DANTE protocol also allows users to retrieve signals from audio mixers and monitor them on wired or wireless RTS devices.

"Ears" is the colloquial term for in-ear monitors (IFB) used by actors or speakers. The RTS system allows messages to be directed to the "ears" from any intercom device to a specific person—for example, a director can discreetly prompt the host without the audience knowing and without the sound engineer’s involvement. This is a key feature in live television productions and performances.

The RTS ROAMEO wireless package starts at 1,500 PLN net per day, and the complete RTS set with tabletop consoles starts at 2,900 PLN net per day. Configuring the matrix, connections, antennas, beltpacks, and DANTE integration requires specialized knowledge, which is why our technician sets up the system for your event and manages it throughout the event.
Yes—via the DANTE protocol. This allows you to capture signals from your audio mixers and monitor them on wired or wireless RTS devices. For example, you can provide operators with an audio preview of the program, camera feeds, or audio tracks. DANTE integration is a standard procedure—our technician will configure the connection to your audio system free of charge.
The minimum rental period is 1 day. Prices start at 1,500 PLN (net) for an RTS ROAMEO wireless system with an operator. For longer events (festivals, multi-day productions), we offer competitive rates—please contact us for a custom quote. The price includes delivery within Warsaw, system setup, and technical support. For very large projects, we can expand the system with additional antennas and beltpacks.
