RTS Intercom System?

The RTS intercom system consists of a matrix (OMS OMNEO) - that is, the heart of the system, table-top or rack-mounted units connected by cable (twisted-pair LAN), a wireless ROAMEO system including antennas and wireless beltpacks. In addition, audio infrastructure can be connected to the intercom system via the DANTE protocol. Such a solution allows, for example, directing messages to the so-called ears from any RTS Intercom device to any actor/presenter, off-air conversations without the involvement of a sound engineer and audio mixer. Use of the DANTE protocol also allows signals to be taken from audio mixers and listened to on wired or wireless RTS devices.

RTS ROAMEO wireless system.

The RTS ROAMEO cable-free system supports up to 40 wireless beltpacks connected to the RTS Intercom system via antennas (AP-1800). The antennas are connected via LAN cable or fiber optic cable to the main heart of the system which is the RTS OMS matrix - the RTS OMNEO wireless intercom system antennas (AP-1800). Each antenna can be assigned from 5 to 10 RTS TR-1800 wireless beltpacks. The number of beltpacks that can be added to an antenna depends on the selected codec. Of course, the greater the number of beltpacks, the lower the sound quality of the wireless intercom. Of course, there can be several or even a dozen antennas.

What are the advantages of RTS digital intercom?

What distinguishes a digital intercom system from an analog one is, first of all, the possibility of communicating with any selected users by programming so-called relationships on the mobile or desktop devices of each user of the system. That is, if user #1 would like to speak only to 3 selected users it is as possible. This means that other users cannot hear conversations between user 1 and his selected relations. Such a solution definitely organizes communication on the set and masters the general chaos that is known from analog devices.
