RTS Intercom System?

The RTS intercom system consists of a matrix (OMS OMNEO) – the heart of the system, desktop or rackmount panels connected by cable (LAN twisted pair), and a ROAMEO wireless system consisting of antennas and wireless beltpacks. Additionally, audio infrastructure can be connected to the intercom system via the DANTE protocol. This solution allows, for example, for directing messages to so-called 'ears' from any RTS Intercom device to any actor/speaker, conversations off-air without the participation of a sound engineer and audio mixer. The use of the DANTE protocol also allows for retrieving signals from audio mixers and listening to them on wired or wireless RTS devices.

RTS ROAMEO wireless system.

The RTS ROAMEO wireless system supports up to 40 wireless beltpacks connected to the RTS Intercom system via antennas (AP-1800). The antennas are connected via LAN cable or fiber optic to the main heart of the system, the RTS OMS matrix – antennas of the RTS OMNEO wireless intercom system (AP-1800). From 5 to 10 RTS TR-1800 wireless beltpacks can be assigned to each antenna. The number of beltpacks that can be assigned to an antenna depends on the selected codec. Of course, the greater the number of beltpacks, the lower the sound quality of the wireless intercom. Of course, there can be several or even a dozen antennas.

What are the advantages of the RTS digital intercom?

What distinguishes a digital intercom system from an analog one is primarily the ability to communicate with any selected users by programming so-called relations on mobile or stationary devices of each system user. That is, if user #1 wants to talk only to 3 selected users, it is entirely possible. This means that other users do not hear the conversations between user 1 and his selected relations. This solution definitely organizes communication on set and controls the general chaos known from analog devices.
