Internet broadcast of the Old Gentlemen's Cabaret Concert

In this case, Live streaming of concerts is a shortened version of the Old Gentlemen's Cabaret song concert performed by students and teachers of the Krzysztof Komeda School of Popular Music and Jazz of the first and second degree in Warsaw. The concert took place at the Bemowo Art Center ArtBem. The entire material is 105 minutes long. We carried out internet broadcasts of a series of concerts.

Internet broadcasts production

The material was recorded with three FullHD cameras. We used Sony XDCAM cameras. Two cameras were set up "stationary" showing a general view, and one of them was taking close-ups. Another camera was mobile and showed the audience in the hall, concert participants from different perspectives, and musicians playing instruments. This solution allowed us to cover the entire hall with the cameras and have control over what the image director wanted to show.

The material was edited to a shortened version on Apple Mac Pro editing stations and Final Cut Studio PRO 7 software. Color correction was performed on software that is part of the Final Cut Studio package. The sound during the concert was recorded via a Zoom H2 digital recorder connected directly to the sound engineers' console. During the internet broadcast, we also used Rode NTG2 microphones to mix the sound from the sound engineer's console with the ambient sound (applause, etc.).
