OCC "Consumer Law" live broadcasts

The meeting was an opportunity to discuss the government's draft law on consumer rights, which aims to implement EU regulations into the Polish legal structure, as well as to systematize and integrate regulations for the quality of the thing sold. The new order not only unifies the level of consumer protection across the EU, but also reforms domestic sales law in extensive respects. Participants in the conference discussed the practical dimension of the new regulations, which on the one hand grant consumers more rights, while on the other hand impose new obligations on traders. Among the issues discussed during the meeting was the guaranteed right of buyers to comprehensive information, which the seller will be obliged to provide even before the conclusion of the contract. In addition, the impact of the planned change in the definition of a consumer and the modification of warranty and guarantee regulations on commercial reality was discussed.

Live broadcasts implementation

Three XDCAM HD class cameras were used, connected via SDI links. The whole thing was supervised by a Blackmagic ATEM1 mixer, which allowed us to mix the video from the cameras and from the presentations that were displayed. Materials such as presentations, photos and videos were imported directly from the presenters' computer - thanks to our system of "non-collision" use of the speaker's computer - even if the presenter's computer changes, we always have the current material in the presentation. Expensive, but very practical solution :).

The material, after being processed by the image mixer, was transmitted using the device - Teradek Vividu in mp4 format at an optimal bitrate of 1400kb/s. The use of this state-of-the-art video encoding device makes it possible to achieve unprecedented image quality at very low internet connection load parameters.

Of course, at the end, the client received full statistics depicting the event's progress and interest of people on the Internet. The report entitled. "Live broadcast Warsaw- UOKiK" was delivered to the Client the same day, then within a few hours the material was ready for publication on the Internet.
