HD Broadcasts

We prepared an HD broadcast for the Praska Food Exchange from events taking place in the Exchange's trading areas. The entire transmission was prepared in high HD resolution 1920×1080. The HD broadcast covered activities that took place at the exchange in connection with the anniversary of the Praska Food Exchange.
This year's event was full of attractions and a whole host of guests. The event was hosted by Katarzyna Dowbor, and the products exhibited by the producers were judged by Ms. Magda Gessler. Oh, it was quite a scene! 🙂

HD Broadcasts production

We carried out HD broadcasts using equipment – Sony XDCAM class cameras, recording HD image (1920×1080). We try to constantly emphasize the fact that full HD quality differs from HDV quality. Many companies use prosumer HDV cameras operating in (1400×1080) resolution, and this is no longer full HD 🙂 and the differences are very noticeable. The cameras were equipped with wireless devices transmitting the image from the cameras in motion to the control room. There, the image was mixed using an ATEM1 mixer. Then, after applying CasparCG titles and animations, we sent the image to screens - large-format screens and to the internet. Of course, we doubled the audience - not only could you watch what was happening on the internet, but if someone felt they had to be there and got into the atmosphere, they simply joined in. The whole thing was free, so there were plenty of viewers.
