Streaming video

The sky has never been so close. Do you want to admire the sunset from Mars, move to the borders of the galaxy? Nothing could be easier! The Planetarium at the Copernicus Science Centre is the most modern facility of its kind in Europe. Our company prepared 2 promotional films presenting the events that accompanied not only the opening of the Planetarium itself, but also presenting the cycle of events that accompanied this event and were prepared as streaming video.
Our company carried out a film report from the event (2 promotional films) in HD technology, which summarize the course of all events, and we also conducted streaming video for people who could not participate in the event that day, but were curious about the attractions prepared by the Copernicus Science Centre. The opening was accompanied by several additional outdoor events and meetings attended by Polish celebrities.

Video streaming implementation

During the implementation of the streaming video service, we used devices transmitting images from cameras in motion. Then, the whole thing was transmitted digitally to the directing room located in the Planetarium. The material was transmitted by XDCAM cameras to the ATEM1 video mixer - of course, all digitally. Then, the image was processed, encoded and sent as files to the server, which then made the video streaming available to people interested in the course of the event.
