Man without barriers
The “Man without Barriers” competition has been organized by the Association of Friends of Integration since 2003 exclusively for people with disabilities. In its 12 previous editions, 24 women and 38 men with various types of disabilities have been awarded: after spinal cord injuries, with progressive muscular atrophy, without arms, with intellectual disabilities, blind, and deaf-blind people. Each of these people breaks down barriers and stereotypes about disability, showing with their attitude and actions that disability does not have to be a limitation. This year, the first live broadcast took place.
Royal Castle in Warsaw, Grand Gala “Man without Barriers”. The guest of honor was Mrs. Agata Kornhauser-Duda, the First Lady. Of course, during this event there was a large group of distinguished guests and people who, despite their problems, reach the top.
Live broadcast technology
Since the Royal Castle has recently become “famous” for the lack of internet in its halls, the live broadcast was carried out using cellular infrastructure and so-called bonding - i.e. the implementation of the broadcast through 3 cellular operators (each network partially), and then the video material is combined into a whole on the server and ready for viewing. The live broadcast was carried out using 3 XDCAM cameras. The video material was published on the YouTube channel.
