The special project for ŠKODA is exactly the kind of job our special projects live streaming offer was built for — unusual, technically demanding live productions. We transmitted footage from 4 cameras mounted inside a moving car in which Miko Marczyk covered the Zakopane–Kraków route burning just 0.8 litres of petrol. The material aired on TVN Turbo.

A live broadcast from a moving car, on a mountain route, from 4 cameras at once
Is it possible to drive from Zakopane to Kraków on a single litre of fuel? ŠKODA and experienced driver Miko Marczyk proved that it is — covering the distance on 0.8 litres of petrol. Our job was to show this feat live, in broadcast quality, from inside the moving car.
This is a classic special project: footage from several cameras mounted in the car, a signal sent over mobile networks on the move, a dozen crew members spread across two cities, and the need to tie it all into one seamless production — with no studio, in real road conditions.

An OB van, 4× LiveU and a Ross Video mix
We transmitted footage from 4 cameras mounted in the car using four LiveU encoders and a LiveU LU2000 receiving server. The signal reached the OB van with a delay of roughly one second, was then mixed in Ross Video and made available downstream as two separate multiviewers.
We sent both streams via VmixCall and our own WebRTC server, so that different audience groups — production, client, director — each received a preview tailored to them. At the same time the OB van provided communication between the gallery in Zakopane, the experts in Kraków and Miko's car, which received selected return feeds from the crew.

A technically demanding live from a car, delivered end to end
The special project for ŠKODA showed that a live broadcast can be produced even where there is no studio and no fixed connectivity — from inside a moving car, on a mountain route, with footage from 4 cameras and full communication between two locations. The client received broadcast-ready material, and TVN Turbo viewers got a clear, engaging account of the whole challenge.

What is special projects live streaming?
These are unusual, technically demanding live productions that go beyond the standard scheme of broadcasting from a stage or a conference room — such as a live from a moving car, from several moving cameras, with communication between multiple locations. On the ŠKODA project we transmitted footage from 4 in-car cameras along the Zakopane–Kraków route. How do you transmit a live image from a moving car?
We use LiveU encoders with cellular bonding and a LiveU LU2000 receiving server in the OB van. The signal from the in-car cameras reaches production with a delay of around one second, where it is mixed and sent onward. This lets the broadcast work even on the move, on a mountain route and beyond the reach of fixed connections.
How many cameras can you fit inside a car?
On the ŠKODA project we worked with 4 cameras mounted in the car — capturing the driver, the road and the on-board computer data. We match the number of cameras and viewpoints to the script and to what can be installed in a given vehicle.
Do you provide communication between different locations?
Yes. On this project we connected the gallery in Zakopane, the experts in Kraków and the moving car — with return feeds back to the vehicle. This was handled by an RTS Intercom Systems OMS intercom (support by Pawlaki Pro Audio) and two telephone hybrids. We build communication between locations around the needs of each production.
Can you prepare a signal for a broadcaster or platform?
Yes. The material from the ŠKODA project aired on TVN Turbo. We deliver a signal to the requirements of TV stations and platforms — on YouTube, on social media or in closed systems for selected audience groups.
How much does a live special project cost?
