Concert for Stanisław Lem's 100th anniversary — live broadcast and full technical production
An online concert for the National Centre for Culture (NCK), performed by Catz ’N Dogz and Klaudia Szafrańska inside a hangar of the Polish Air Force University in Dęblin — with F-16 and M-346 Bielik fighter jets as the stage set. We handled the entire technical side: vision, sound, lighting, LED screens and the live broadcast.

A concert stage inside an air base hangar
Stanisław Lem's 100th birthday called for a setting worthy of his imagination — instead of a concert hall, the organisers chose an active air base in Dęblin, with F-16 fighters, M-346 Bielik trainers and other machines standing on the apron as the stage design.
A hangar, however, is not a concert hall: concrete and sheet metal instead of acoustics, no stage infrastructure, and a military site with its own access procedures. The entire stage, sound, lighting, screens and control position had to be brought in and built from scratch — and then removed without leaving a trace on an operational airfield.

14 cameras, a camera crane, steadicam and drone shots
We produced the concert with a multi-camera setup from our OB truck: eleven manned studio cameras plus three specialty cameras that captured angles impossible to get from a tripod.
A camera crane ran wide moves along the hangar and above the aircraft fuselages, a steadicam moved between the machines and the performers without a single shake, and a drone added shots taking in the stage, the fighter jets and the whole base at once. This setup makes the recording play like a film production rather than a plain event capture.

Concert production and broadcasting — frequently asked questions
How much does a live concert broadcast cost?
The price depends mainly on scope: a recording and stream alone is quoted differently from full technical production with sound, lighting and LED screens. The number of cameras, use of a crane, steadicam and drone, the length of the concert and any post-production all matter. Tell us about your event — we prepare a quote within one business day.
Do you handle all the event's technology, or just the broadcast?
We handle all of it. For the Dęblin concert we were responsible at once for the LED screens, lighting, backline, sound reinforcement, vision and audio production, and post-production. For the organiser that means one partner and one schedule instead of coordinating several separate crews.
How many cameras are needed to produce a concert?
A small concert can be produced well with four or five cameras. For large events with elaborate staging we work with a dozen or more — in Dęblin it was eleven studio cameras and three specialty ones. More cameras mean not just more shots, but above all freedom in the live edit and the ability to show the concert from angles the audience can't reach.
Do you provide drone and camera-crane shots?
Yes, we have a camera crane, a steadicam and a drone with operators. Flights are carried out in line with regulations, and at special locations — such as an active air base — after arrangement with the site manager and the services responsible for the airspace.
Can the broadcast run online and on television at the same time?
Yes. The Lem concert ran simultaneously on the National Centre for Culture's YouTube and Facebook channels, and as a feed for selected TV stations. We output the signal from the OB truck in broadcast standard, so a broadcaster can take it without extra conversion.
Do you work with cultural institutions and public bodies?
Yes, we produce events for cultural institutions, universities, museums and public bodies — from concerts and galas to conferences and anniversary events. We know the formal requirements of such contracts, including work in restricted-access areas and events attended by officials.
Do we receive the edited footage after the concert?
Yes. Beyond the broadcast recording we handle post-production: editing, colour correction and preparing the material for publication. For the NCK concert we colour-graded all of the recorded footage, and a music video was also created from the same shoot.
